Every Savannah food list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, barbecue, breakfast, burgers, Asian, desserts, bakeries and patios inside the city limits.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Savannah’s restaurants sit in three places: downtown, on Broughton, Bay and Bull streets, in City Market and along River Street, where Plant Riverside District has a cluster of its own; the Starland District south of Forsyth Park; and the Southside and east side, along Abercorn Street, Waters Avenue and East Victory Drive. Each list below is alphabetical, with addresses, hours as each place publishes them and phone numbers.

How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Savannah’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026, with additions from the Plant Riverside District restaurant directory and from restaurants’ own sites. Places with no website are listed only when the Chatham County restaurant inspection database shows them inspected in 2026. We checked every address against the U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoder, so restaurants on Wilmington and Whitemarsh islands, in Sandfly and on Skidaway Island, which have Savannah mailing addresses but are outside the city line, are not on these lists. Nothing here is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be listed. Run a restaurant in the city? Write to us.

Frequently asked questions

Where are the restaurants in Savannah?

Inside the city limits they cluster downtown, on Broughton, Bay and Bull streets, in City Market and on River Street at Plant Riverside District, in the Starland District south of Forsyth Park, and along Abercorn Street, Waters Avenue and East Victory Drive on the Southside and east side.

Are Wilmington Island, Whitemarsh Island and Pooler restaurants on these lists?

No. Restaurants on the islands and in Sandfly have Savannah mailing addresses but sit outside the city limits in unincorporated Chatham County, and Pooler is its own city, so our lists leave them out.

Do restaurants pay to be on these lists?

No. Every list is alphabetical, nobody paid to be on it, and none of them is a ranking or a recommendation.
