Forsyth Farmers’ Market
The market sets up under the oaks at the south end of Forsyth Park, at Bull Street and Park Avenue, every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is open year-round, rain or shine; only extreme weather closes it, according to the market.
- What you will find: a food-only, producer-only market with more than 60 vendors on a typical Saturday: produce, pastured meat, local honey, dairy and cheese, bread and baked goods and prepared food.
- How local: every vendor comes from within 200 miles of Savannah.
- Paying: all vendors take cash, and a few take cards. The main market table swaps debit, credit and SNAP/EBT for tokens that do not expire and cannot be refunded.
SNAP/EBT

The market and Step Up Savannah offer free SNAP screening and help with enrolling or renewing; call 912-495-8484 or email forsythfarmersmarket@gmail.com for an appointment, according to its SNAP page.
