Twelve Mexican and Tex-Mex places inside Savannah city limits, from River Street and Broughton Street to Bull Street and the Abercorn corridor.
Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Savannah’s sit-down Mexican restaurants are downtown, on Broughton Street, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and River Street, with a taco shop on Bull Street. The fast-casual and drive-thru chains line East Victory Drive, Mall Boulevard and Abercorn Street on the Southside.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Savannah’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. We added Savannah Tequila Company from the Plant Riverside District restaurant directory, Bull Street Taco from its own site, and chain stores from each chain’s own location pages, and we checked every address against the U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoder. Places with Savannah mailing addresses outside the city line, on Skidaway Road near Sandfly and Fort Argyle Road, are not here. Jalapeno’s website would not load for us; the Chatham County restaurant inspection database shows both of its city kitchens inspected in 2026, so we list them with no hours. We moved Mint to Be Mojito Bar and Bites, a cocktail bar with Latin American small plates, to our patios list. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
